Bluebells -6weeks- 18months

Bluebells room is for Children aged 6weeks-18months.

The ratio in the room is 1 adult to every 3 children.

Our aim is to build close relationships with each baby, so they feel happy, settled and secured in their new environment.

Each child is an individual with their own needs and your babys keyperson makes sure these are met at all times.

We follow the routine you have built up for your baby at home, so they'll have their milk and naps at the same time, whether they are with you or at nursery, this helps them settle easily and reinforces that feelings of security. we'll also take your lead when it comes to weaning. your baby gets consistency everyday,

Our babies will take part in outdoor learning and venture out of the nursery daily to the local care home, forest and local Library for rhyme time, they also enjoy weekly sessions from Tiny Mites.

Buttercups- 18months- 2.5years

Buttercups room is for Children ages 18 months- 2.5 years.

Staff will work alongside the room lead to create exciting activities following the Children's interests. Creative activities, sensory play, construction, puzzles, books, mark making, sand and water are just some of the activities the children enjoy.

We spend time adventuring outside of the nursery to the local care home to visit the elderly, weekly adventures in the local forest for outdoor learning, take the bus or a lovely walk to the local town for soft play and the library. And we welcome in Tiny Mites each week for a sing and song class. Children will start to learn about being independent and have opportunities throughout the day to develop these skills.

Blossoms- 2.5years- 5years

We provide a variety of play based activities, including small world, table top games, sand and water play, sensory, creative, roleplay, construction and of course books.

Letters, sounds and numbers are introduced in a fun way, building the foundation for early Literacy and mathematics skills.

The children have a keyperson who works closely with them extending their knowledge and moving them onto their next stage of development.

Circle time offers many opportunities for the children to talk about different topics, interests and share experiences. Children will learn independence through self care, making meals and self serving lunch. They will take part in opportunities within the community such as litter picking, to learn on the importance of keeping the environment clean. We will venture out of the nursery daily for outdoor learning opportunities including the local care home, visits to the local library and soft play, Dentist, Doctors and to learn about nature in the forest.

Extra Curricular

At Bam & Tata's we pride ourself in offering extra curricular activities throughout the week, for children to learn and develop in a variety of ways all whilst having fun.

Tiny mites music class is a fun interactive class for children of all ages. We enjoy Tiny mites on Mondays.

Born 2 Boogie is a fun music, dance and movement class for ages 2+ that we enjoy on Thursdays.

We enjoy weekly visits to the local forest for our Bam & Tata's woodland adventures. Where children enjoy learning in nature.

Weekly visits to the local care home to visit the elderly and spend time building interaction skills and playing games.
